Kawasaki exhibiting at Hannover Messe 2018

In April this year, Kawasaki Precision Machinery will be exhibiting at Hannover Messe, alongside other Kawasaki divisions for the second year. The first Kawasaki Group presence at this exhibition was in 2017, highlighting the collaboration between all Kawasaki divisions to bring the latest innovations to all sectors in which Kawasaki operate. 



This year Kawasaki will build on this message by showcasing technological advancements across the Kawasaki group from the last 12 months.
 
Kawasaki Precision Machinery will be highlighting the electro-hydraulic hybrid system, KAWASAKI ECO SERVO, for industrial applications. The KAWASAKI ECO SERVO uses the rotational speed of the electric motor to regulate pressure and the discharge flow of the highly-efficient variable displacement pump, which lowers the power consumption. Use of the variable displacement pump enables a smaller electric motor and lower motor/pump speed.
This new system combines the best Kawasaki technology to bring excellent controllability and high efficiency to applications such as press machines, injection moulding machines and steel manufacturing. Significant energy savings can be achieved as a result of the highly efficient hydraulic pump and the system design that allows the pump to discharge only when it is necessary. Less heat generation allows the configuration to be more compact than existing systems, making it the perfect choice for a variety of industrial applications.
  
In addition to the KAWASAKI ECO SERVO, Kawasaki Precision Machinery will also be exhibiting the latest in Staffa innovation: the HMF radial piston motor. The HMF motor offers three displacement modes, allowing greater flexibility and control for many applications. This new motor was the result of extensive research and development at Kawasaki’s UK manufacturing facility.
