New Jaw Crusher REXE Jaw Launched
Nov. 11, 2013
Tokyo, November 11, 2013 — EarthTechnica Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd., announced today that it will launch a new jaw crusher, the REXE Jaw, in mid-November.
The new REXE Jaw is a primary crusher used for crushing blasted rock into a particle size of 200 to 400 mm to produce concrete aggregates. The REXE Jaw features a redesigned crushing chamber and a new set adjusting device. These enhancements have added up to an industry-leading crushing capability and a significantly improved work efficiency. Users will benefit from reduced running costs as well as increased productivity.
In the upcoming launch the company will offer a choice of two models: RXJ4836 and RXJ4230. Future additions to the lineup are planned to include larger models as well.
Key Features of the REXE Jaw
1.High Crushing Capability
The crushing chamber features crushing blades aligned in a V shape, and a mechanism to smoothly discharge crushed rock with the stroke of a swing jaw. As a result, the crushing capacity has been improved by approximately 15% over conventional models equipped with a wedge-shaped crushing chamber.
2.Improved Work Efficiency
A new set adjusting device has been provided as standard for adjusting particle size. With this addition, the adjusting time has been shortened to 1/3 to 1/4 the time required to adjust manually. Accordingly, the particle size of the primary crusher can now be adjusted more frequently, contributing to improved work efficiency and increased productivity of the entire plant.
3.Simple and Robust Structure
The company has leveraged its wealth of experience to design a simple yet robust structure. Parts subject to frequent wear have been strengthened to realize a unit that can easily withstand years of use.
